Chief Development Architect

1099 Consultants or Full-Time Employees

Job Description:

PaRaBaL is looking to recruit a Chief Development Architect to aid PaRaBaL in designing and leading software engineering efforts for a Mobile Software Program. Qualified candidates located near Baltimore are preferred.

Your Primary Tasks:

  • Lead a Software Engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and direction
  • Work alongside team members in development efforts, including app development and cross-platform compatibility, that will be used alongside enterprise mobility systems (e.g. Enterprise Mobility Management, File Sharing and App Stores)
  • Align development efforts with product and engineering standards
  • Define and communicate sound architectural vision, roadmap, strategies, and guidance to drive project deliverables
  • Drive platform and user experience consistency across all project deliverables
  • Analyze existing mobile and web applications against program operational and security requirements
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration amongst Technical Team and Program Personnel
  • Work alongside key Program Personnel to plan, review and present development roadmap and progress to the Customer
  • Be the Point of Contact for development progress, questions, and decisions
  • Be the Point of Contact for Customer Development Teams regarding collaborative development efforts
  • Oversee documentation efforts for project design and development collaboration (e.g. API documentation)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in software and product development. An equivalent combination of education, certification, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and drive product architectures
  • Strong knowledge of Development Life Cycles and execution methodologies
  • 2+ years experience in comparable technical leadership function
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Experience with Mobile OS languages (Java, Objective-C, Swift)
  • Experience with Cross Scripting tools such as Xamarin, PhoneGap or Sencha
  • Experience with Web Development (Front-end and/or Back-end) and languages.
  • Familiarity with Development Collaboration tools such as Sourceforge, GitHub, etc.

Director of Enterprise Mobility Sales and Marketing 

Job Description:

PaRaBaL, a growing Mobility Technology firm, is seeking Sales and Marketing Leadership around the mobility industry. PaRaBaL needs a visionary for its Sales and Marketing Team who can enable Enterprise Mobility to our clients by demonstrating to companies and their employees the benefits of mobile devices for work. Workplaces become more efficient when workers can readily utilize mobile devices. PaRaBaL’s mission is to help organizations realize the ROI benefits of embracing mobility within their organizations. PaRaBaL achieves this by working on technical, as well as, policy hurdles. Ideally, we are looking for an organized, tech-savvy, dynamic communicator.

The Sales And Marketing Director at PaRaBaL would devise strategies to locate and find the correct audience for PaRaBaL Enterprise Mobile Services and Products. The Director would need to know the market as well as how to innovate and create the means and abilities to market, message, and reach potential buyers. The Director would also need to understand sales cycles and steps needed to match PaRaBaL offerings to the correct clientele. The Sales and Marketing Director will also be responsible for working with and leading our existing sales and marketing team. Working in a group and collaborating will be a requirement.

The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for aiding in the creation of marketing materials both in print as well as digital. This individual will oversee : social-media-marketing and email efforts; prospecting of campaigns; creation of newsletters; setting up of events; and coordination of other communiqués used to reach customers and brand PaRaBaL with mobile enterprise expertise. The Director would need to be able to sell and handle client interactions during the sales cycle as well as oversee other salespeople and marketing personnel.

The successful candidate must live within 45 minutes of our Baltimore based offices. Prior Enterprise Mobility experiences as either a vendor, service provider, or as an internal mobility expert is a plus.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Provide Sales and Marketing Leadership. 
  • Locate and increase clientele. 
  • Create Marketing copy for print and digital distribution.
  • Handle all web site and social media updates and campaigns.
  • Conduct Lead generation campaigns
  • Manage Sales Staff and forecast sales revenues.

Systems Engineer - Enterprise Mobility

The candidate should be a client-facing engineer that can address client mobile enterprise needs by: crafting solutions, installing products, and conducting product training and demonstrations.

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivocal experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of one industry certification (CISSP, PMP, GIAC, CISM, CAP, etc.) preferred.
